home sweet home

Jacket, vest & hotpants - Topshop
Ankle boots - New Look

Travelling home today... Amsterdam has been such a good experience! I love European countries. I always feel that England seems somewhat alien to the rest of the Europe. I just don't seem how our culture can be called European when compared to other countries like France, Belgium, Amsterdam etc. Anyway here's the outfit I wore last night. Since my crush on spots in the summer, I'm still in love with spotty prints - they're feisty and fun so when I saw this blazer in Topshop I would have been kicking myself ever since if I'd have left it behind.

think pink

Shirt, jeans & shoes - New Look
Hat - Topshop
Cardigan - Vintage
Bag - Miss Selfridge

Last day in Amsterdam today. We went to see if there was any shopping to be done. But the shops were the same as in England really, Zara, River Island, H&M etc. Went to the Amsterdam dungeons and to visit the Anne Frank Huis but the queue was too long and it closed at six so we wouldn't have made it... really disappointed. Wore my pink vintage cardigan for the first time today. The colour is so darling and eye-catching to say the least. Serves me very well. I knew it would. xx

vintage & sequins

Wearing sequin top - vintage, skinny jeans, ankle boots & coat- New Look, clutch bag - Dorothy perkins.

Usually take photo's of my outfit before I go out rather than whilst I'm out but last night I decided to do both. Couldn't resist photographing the city - its so beautiful at night and just so... well, European.

Amsterdam

Leggins & black pumps - New Look
Hat  & Scarf- H&m
Dress - River Island
Necklace & bag - Urban Outfitters
Gloves - Miss Selfridge
Jacket - Primark

Arrived in Amsterdam this morning around 9am Dutch time. The trip was exceptionally awkward, awkward sleeping, awkward transport - Sea France were not running ferries so we had to wait around from 1am until 3:30am to go on the Euro tunnel. All in all it was an exhausting journey but we arrived safely which is the main thing.

Went out to explore the city - it was so exhilarating - the fashion is so different to the fashion I see in England, Chinese restaurants were everything and since I loved Chinese food, I was in food heaven! We spent most the day in a chinese take-out place. They out the food in those little cardboard boxes that I've only ever seen on American films like in New York City and I gave the chop sticks a go but it didn't really work out so well...

Coffee shops were everywhere and the red light district was grim to say the least. Don't know how the government can accept prostitution as normal, men were picking out what women they wanted like they were pieces of meat. Quite sad and depressing. On a lighter note, really loved the rest of the city!

They had fast food vending machines, how cool!? England only crisps and chocolate vending machines is a little behind...

superstitious?? New shoes on the table

Say hi to my new ankle booties. I'm not really a shoe girl but I couldn't resist these when I saw them in New Look yesterday. Love the animal print and the black ones are really comfy despite their monstrous heel.

I'm going on a uni trip tomorrow to Amsterdam for the weekend. Can't decide which pair will travel with me but I think I'll feel guilty if I don't pack both.
